ABOUT US

OUR PURPOSE IN HIS KINGDOM:  A SERVANT’S HEART

At 1COR6:19 FITNESS, LLC, we pride ourselves on the one foundational aspect of the body in which we focus: The CORe. As FAITH is our foundation to life, the CORe is our foundation to strengthen the body. Without a foundation, how can we build anything? We strive to make health and wellness a priority in the lives of God’s children. Our passion is helping others realize their full potential and achievements within their fitness goals and to do so exceedingly.

The grace of God motivates us and we promise our utmost care and concern for our clients’ well-being. We will do anything and everything in our power to assist in a healthy lifestyle change. We will remain positive and uplifting, demanding yet encouraging, all with our client’s best interests in mind. We will pray for the strength, endurance and stamina to not only get through each workout but to overcome a previous challenge. Meanwhile, we will thank our Father because, in Him, we have already won.

We are passionate about health and wellness. Our purpose is to help anyone and everyone we can live a healthier life. For us, instilling healthy lifestyle changes in every person we encounter is a moral responsibility. There is a certain type of energy felt when walking through the doors at 1COR6:19 FITNESS and we want everyone to be a part of it. Our clients love being encouraged by one another and we truly have become a family. A sense of community has been established and this is so important in today's world. To witness the encouragement and motivation our clients give one another is such a blessing. They want to succeed for themselves and for each other!

Everyone is welcome, so come on in. We’ve been waiting for you and look forward to being a part of your successful health and wellness journey.

COMING INTO EXISTENCE: A SMALL, STILL VOICE

1COR6:19 FITNESS, LLC has been derived from Scripture, the Book of First Corinthians, Chapter 6, Verse 19: “Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God, and you are not your own?”

While co-leading a Daniel Plan Fitness/Bible Study, we felt the Holy Spirit’s presence tugging from within as we read that passage.  In the moment, while teaching, we shrugged it off and continued our lesson. As we delved a bit deeper into the message, the intricate details came alive.  Our bodies house the Holy Spirit; therefore, they are sacred.  How else can we keep our temple, our body, healthy and strong?

Our living God is within us; shouldn’t we do everything in our earthly power to keep our bodies healthy, as a way of honoring our Heavenly Father?  Shouldn’t His Spirit live in purity?  Our minds kept drifting to questions and thoughts about this particular passage even though the lesson had moved past it.

During a recap session later that evening, we realized what God was telling us. He spoke very clearly. As our training focuses so deeply on strengthening the CORe of the body, God so subtly shortened Corinthians to COR. How omnipotent and omniscient is our God?  It was in that moment, 1COR6:19 FITNESS was born!

"God never gives you a dream that matches your budget. He's not checking your bank account, He’s checking your faith."

God has a plan for each and every one of us. He instills within us a special gifting, a particular passion that when found, brings the most joy that one can ever experience.
When God places a calling over your life, what do you do? Do you become fearful, as Peter did in the boat or are you filled with faith, like King David as he said to Goliath, “You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel” (1 Samuel 17:45)
That is unshakeable confidence in God. This is where you must lean into the Word of God even deeper, you must Listen to that small, still voice and follow your calling. This is when you lean not on your own understanding and realize that you are a disciple of Jesus Christ. You were born with a mission placed on your heart, to glorify our Heavenly Father and to further the Kingdom of God.

This is exactly how 1COR6:19 FITNESS was born. God called. We listened. We accepted. We trusted. We believed. We were obedient. We had faith. We read His Word. We followed His lead.
